'Game Of Thrones' Author George R.R. Martin FINALLY Finishes 'A Dance With Dragons' In Today's Dailies

Game of ThronesTwas beauty killed the beast, and twas George R.R. Martin who finally finished writing his Kong, "A Dance With Dragons."

Those of you keeping track should know that Martin announced the release date for the fifth, long-awaited (and we mean long awaited, as in since 2005) installment of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series -- currently being adapted and airing on HBO as "Game of Thrones" -- last month, but today he wrote on his website that the beast of a novel he's worked on for six years is finally complete. Is it July 15 yet?

One upcoming remake that we're really looking forward to is "21 Jump Street," especially since we found out that Johnny Depp was in fact going to make a cameo appearance in it. "Atlas Shrugged: Part 2" And "Part 3" On Their Way
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that John Aglialoro, the co-producer and financier of "Atlas Shrugged: Part 1" who spent $10 million out of his own pocket to bring the film to the screen, has vowed to bring the next two installments of the story to the big screen. It sounds like a bold move to us, since the film has only made back a third of what it cost to make and reviewers hated it, but hey, best of luck!

"Apollo 18" And "Final Destination 5" To Be Released In The Summer
/Film got the scoop that the Timur Bekmambetov-produced horror flick "Apollo 18" has, after much moving around, solidified an August 26 release date. In response, "Final Destination 5" has been moved up from the 26 to August 12. Looks like August will be the month of fear.

As if the success of "Water for Elephants" and HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" didn't already tip you off to this, Prohibition is very in right now. Relativity Media is getting in on the action, as Deadline announced they have picked up the new project "Ness/Capone." According to the news site, the flick puts a new spin on the battle between Eliot Ness and Al Capone during the 1920s.
